What print options do you offer?

Daniel Courtney Photography sells photographic prints on a number of mediums.

Facemounted Acrylic prints

This is our premium print method.

The image that you choose is sent to a lab in Sydney, who retain the use of a Lambda printer, to print your image onto a Fuji Crystal Pearl archive paper, using a mixture of digital and chemical exposure.

The print is then sent to our Mounter, who face mounts it using an optically clear film to a 6mm sheet of perfect acrylic. This sandwich then has a backing and wall hanging system attached, resulting in a perfect, frameless look with an added level of depth to the image.

Everyone walks past these, and says “Wow.”

Aluminium Prints

This option that we offer is a Chromaluxe Aluminium print. This print option has a high gloss finish and comes ready to hang on your wall for a modern, frameless finish.

It’s extremely durable, cleans with window cleaner and looks absolutely amazing on the wall.

All Aluminium prints have FREE SHIPPING Australia wide.

Canvas Prints

We also offer Fine Art Canvas prints. These are printed by our fine art printer. He uses only the highest quality canvases with high quality Canon inks, Australian timber stretcher bars and a heat pressed laminated sheet for protection.

This might not mean much to you, but rest assured we are using the highest quality materials possible to give you a fine art quality canvas print.

All Canvas prints have FREE SHIPPING Australia wide.

Framed Prints

Our ready to go frame options are custom made for us by one of Australia’s best framing companies. They feature real wood with timber veneers, and either glass or thick plexiglass in the larger sizes.

We can arrange custom framing for you if you prefer.

Unframed Prints

We sell traditional high quality photo paper prints. Printed on an Epson 4800 wide format photo printer, using genuine Epson inks and printed on various Ilford premium papers.

These are sold with a non permanent foam backing within an archival plastic sleeve for small sizes, and rolled carefully for larger sizes.

How long does it take to get my print? –

Every print is custom made to order. Acrylic, Aluminium and Canvas prints usually take 2-4 weeks, while framed and unframed paper prints usually take 1-2 weeks to produce and ship. If you need a print by a specific deadline, please contact us and we will do everything possible to get it to you by the desired date.

Limited Editions –

All of my images are limited to editions of 40 large prints to ensure that the value rises over time. Every print is signed and numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.¬†Prints under 36″ are not included in the edition.

How will my prints ship –

Aluminium and canvas prints have free shipping via courier and are professionally packaged using custom foam wrapping, and cardboard inserts and boxes, to ensure their safety during shipping. Framed prints are shipped via Australia Post once bubble wraped and placed in a cardboard box. Large unframed prints are protected with tissue paper and carefully rolled into a postage tube. Small unframed prints are packaged in an archival sleeve with a foam core backing, posted in a satchel. Please talk to us about our Acrylic shipping options.
