Autumn Shelter was created at Mt Wilson, in the Blue Mountains, which is known for displaying beautiful Autumn Colours.
This Maple tree shelters a stone bench, perfect for a rest on a warm Autumn day. The sunlight filters through and the breeze rustles the leaves, drifting your mind away from every day life.
A warm glow glistens over the area letting the yellow and orange leaves capture the light.
Relax with this piece of art on your wall, let the tree shelter you as the piece reminds you of peaceful Autumns past and future.

A beautiful pastel vertical panorama image that sweeps you off your feet into the serenity of the ocean. Taken as sunset glows behind, the aqua water shines through the waves as they roll onto the shore.
I tend to find myself drifting off to an unknown world when I look into the image. I wonder where I can go next in my life journey and what is on the horizon for me and my family. I can feel the sand washing out from under my toes as I sink into the image.
I created this artwork to bring some Newcastle peace and calmness to my space and remind me the future is beyond tomorrow, it is all the days ahead.

Ahhh those summer beach days, this shot of Dixon Park Beach, Merewether captures Newcastle in the Summer holidays.
I absolutely love everything this image shows; the white sandy beach, the turquoise blue water, the gentle waves, the beach goers enjoying the sunshine, it just makes my heart sing and happiness burst out.

This image was commissioned by a customer, to whom this area was very special, particularly the Yellow Rock Bluff above. We spend a few days in the area around Broke looking for compositions and testing them out. We then made a few trips out to the Valley when the clouds looked like they may light up, unsuccessfully, until finally this night we got it! The Cherry tree is in full bloom next to a farm dam, and the Yellow Rock Bluff looks down over the scene.

All that remains of the Cat Bay Jetty on this famous part of Phillip Island, in Victoria, Australia.
This long exposure art image smoothes the motion of the water into calmness, lending a sense of serenity to the daylight image.

It was a cold cold winter's evening at Catherine hill Bay, but what's landscape photography without enduring all of the seasons? We wandered around to various locations surrounding the bay and the jetty, unsure what the sunset was going to bring.
I settled on this composition as I loved the contrasting colours and the idea of how something threatened to be demolished sees the end of another day, surviving, just a little longer. Once used for loading coal, this jetty lies sleeping with many photographers enjoying its presence, its history and its unique character.

This image was a lucky capture that I shot while leading a photography workshop. I spent my afternoon teaching others how I go about my photography captures and after helping and setting the participants up with their compositions I decided it was my turn to have some fun. So while jumping between participants and my own camera I spent a few minutes on this one.
I love the contrast of day and night, whist showing life in Newcastle city, reflected in the Canoe Pool at Newcastle Baths.

Sunset at Corindi Beach Point was magical this night. We were staying at the Reflections Caravan Park near Coffs Harbour, NSW where it is a short walk to the beach. Amanda convinced me to head out for sunset as the clouds were similar to the previous night where it unexpectedly lit up all around us while we were having dinner. I'm so glad she did as it was one of the most amazing sunsets we'd had in some time. I knew from swimming amongst the rockpools earlier that day that the water was a crystal clear blue so had already decided I wanted that in my artwork. This is the first of 3 images in this Corindi Beach collection as the sunset lasted a long time and changed so much, I couldn't resist continuing to capture three totally different works.

Taken on a rare sunrise for me is the 3rd artwork in my Corindi Beach collection. I had previously scouted this composition from walks along Corindi Beach, NSW (in the Coffs Harbour Region) and my sunset captures. I was unsure how the tide would impact the capture, but as with all my photography artworks, unless I head out to have a look, I don't know. The hard part with sunrise is you can't really see to tell before then rushing to get the right composition. This time it paid off and although I usually like some clouds in the sky for interest, I rather prefer the simplicity of this image and the sun rising against the blue water.

This was our third trip out to Merriwa, searching for the perfect Canola shot.
The rich brown earth of the region promotes Canola growth, and is even famous for it.
We drove just about every remote road out here searching, scouting for our upcoming fourth trip, when we came across this early season crop.
I set up and waited patiently for the clouds I could see in the distance to move into my composition. The clouds coming over were from a storm front we could see far away, something this extremely dry region hadn’t seen for a few months, could this shower bring just a small bit of relief for the farmers?
As the clouds started into my shot, they partially obscured the sun, allowing these sun beams to develop, highlighting the focal point of this image, the lone tree in the field, and leading your eye through towards the field of ripe Canola.

This image represents Outback Australia to me. Taken somewhere along the Stuart Highway, near Coober Pedy, The old fenceline runs along the length of the road.
The red earth and the salt bush is very representative of this region.

Whilst I was in the Otways National Park recently, I had heard about this amazing stand of Giant California Redwoods. They were planted in the 1930's as a softwood logging experiment, and never chopped down.
They are down a gravel road, about 30 km from the nearest town of Apollo Bay, and make a fantastic picnic spot.
The National Park was recently expanded to include this stand of tree's, the first time it's ever happened for an introduced species.
The sun was filtering through these amazing tree's, I quickly set up the camera and tripod and shot this beautiful scene of the moss covered Giant Redwoods on the banks of the Aire river.
I hope you enjoy this shot, which showcases the beauty of this imported species, in this one amazing spot in Victoria. I could have spent hours here!

This playful image shows sun lovers basking in Summer at one of Newcastle’s most famous beaches, Merewether. The waves rolling in over the sand produce a beautiful intense blue that contrasts perfectly with the light yellow of the sand.
This image is a snapshot of summer, watching surfers and swimmers taken from above.
When creating this image I was aiming to bring warmth, happiness and sunshine to any space through it, whether it be a loungeroom, bedroom, bathroom or office.
I have spent many mornings and afternoons bodyboarding the Newcastle coastline and each time I look into this artwork, I am caught up in a wave and find myself reminiscing the many good times the Newcastle beaches made available.

This Gold Coast Sunset artwork taken from the Ian Dipple Lagoon, really brings the warmth. The Gold Coast apartments and foreshore definitely depict the Gold Coast lifestyle. I was really hoping the sky would light up in the opposite direction however, I have no control over it so have to be prepared to bring forward my creativity on the spot and bring this moment in time to life and artform.

The very little known, tiny suburb of Green Point lies just south of Forster/Tuncurry. There are about 4 streets, a telephone box and a rural fire brigade here, with most people working and schooling in Forster.
We were headed back to our Caravan from a day out in Forster when we decided to try this tiny side road and see what was down it. We managed to find a road that went down past the water, and found this magical spot with a few tinnies moored.

This image was taken just as the first orange glow from the rising sun came over the Darwin City horizon at this beautiful location.
We had gotten out of bed at 3:45 AM to make it here, and boy was it worth it.

On my daily trip to work, I drove past this spot every morning! I have spotted this fantastic mist forming due to the "cold" weather! I have been leaving for work a bit early and stopping to try to capture the moment.
This morning I was able to capture this beautiful sunrise, with the mist wreathing over this paddock.
Please enjoy this photo, taken near the McMillans Rd, Stuart Hwy intersection.

This image was taken at Casuarina Coastal Reserve. We took our puppies for an evening play and a run around, and naturally I double booked and brought the camera equipment.
There's not much to say about this one. I took it after the sun had dipped below the horizon. It's a 30 second exposure using a few ND filters to balance the light.
I was pretty lucky that there was this much cloud being dry season, it can be quite plain without cloud cover!

Tiona, on Lake Wallis.
It's almost every landscape photographers dream to be able to wake up or go to bed right where they can take gorgeous landscape images. Tiona Holiday Park offers just this! With Lake Wallis on one side, and the Beach on the other, there is an angle for every type of light.
This composition wasn't one that I originally planned, but as happens with these things, you have to stay flexible and seek out the right images.

I am happy to release this beautiful image from my time in Nitmiluk.
The sun rose over the tops of the gorge, just managing to light up the tops as the clouds received the morning glow treatment.
The green foliage contrasts beautiful with the rocks, their natural hues enhanced by the golden sunrise glow.

After a full on day in my Gallery, I was pumped to stop talking about my artworks with people and get out and capture one!
This was my 4th attempt to get a nice Redhead sunset, each previous attempt foiled by nature, people or my own forgetfulness (Apparently I need a tripod to shoot).
I had really high hopes for this evening, there was a strong wind, and interesting cloud formation. I had hoped to get a nice vertical panorama with beautiful lit up clouds overhead.
As sometimes happens though, nature has its own intentions, and I just have to roll with it. This soft cloud glow was the best of the night, as the sun sank into a dense cloud bank before it really had a chance to bring much colour to the clouds.
I used the opportunity to get some muted sand and water colours, brought together by these incredible rock formations and the surf lifesaving tower. The quick moving clouds created a nice soft sky for the tower to stand against.

Seisia, Cape York Peninsula, known for it's location as one of the most northern towns in Australia, provided some amazing sunsets for us while we were there exploring. The beach and palms trees just set the scene beautifully.

This image was taken at the famous Cullen Bay beach in the middle of Wet Season. The timing was just right to get this beautiful hole in the clouds with the sunset popping through just as my lightning trigger caught the lightning.

Amanda heard about a sunflower farm in the Atherton Tablelands opening up for photos and picking, and because we were staying only just 30minutes away we planned our visit for just before sunset. We took a haybale cart ride around the farm, learning about the machinery and what takes place (and scouting for the best composition) and then hung around and waited for the sky to glow.

One summer evening we decided to join friends for a picnic at Warner's Bay. They told us it's usually lovely there for sunset, music, cheese and crackers. But this particular evening there was a storm approaching after a rainy day so the music was cancelled. We convened with our friends and decided to risk the weather and enjoy a night off from working. Ha, who am I kidding, I'm always working when we are out and about at sunset.
We were all sitting there and then all of a sudden we looked at each other and said 'I think the sunset might actually do something interesting'. I left Amanda, Aria and our friends, Erica and Ash and ran to the car to get my gear.
As I set myself up, this young couple perched themselves on the end of the pier, enjoying the moment, each other's company and their love for each other. The sun continued to set and give off these amazing sun rays and light up the sky. The lake was silent, calm and elegant, it matched the mood of this young couple perfectly.
The storm was still getting closer, so not long after this shot we packed up to head home before we got wet. Such a contrast to what was miserable rainy day.
